The service was as advertised. One of the reviews I read while researching available tour services said pick Rosie and you won’t be sorry. And after our tour I agree a hundred percent. My wife and I toured with Rosie along with two other couples. She picked us up at our hotel at 9:30am and we returned about 4:30pm.

The van was clean and air conditioned, there were cold drinks, there was a microphone and intercom for the narration, all very nice. Rosie seems to be friends with every gate guard, hotel staff, restaurant owner, parking attendant, shop keeper, etc in Acapulco. She can get you where you want to go and she also knows what sights people find interesting. We learned many interesting and historical facts along the way.

We saw the different neighborhoods of the city, some great views of the bay, the Flamingo hotel, the peace Chapel, the Diego Rivera mural, one of the town squares, some shopping, and the cliff divers. Rosie is a real jewel and as we traveled from place to place we also met some of her past customers that came up to her to say h to Rosie and they told us what a great guide she is. We highly recommend Rosie.

We booked Rosie for a tour when we visited Acapulco on our P&O Arcadia cruise in early May. There were 6 other guests from Celebrity Infinity.

Rosie met us at the cruise terminal as arranged at 9.00am then proceeded to give us an excellent day (7 hours) seeing the best of Acapulco. Her knowledge of the city must be difficult to match, there doesn’t seem anything she doesn’t know.
We enjoyed a visit to the Turtle Release Centre where Rosie had, at very short notice, arranged for us to each release a 1 day old turtle into the Pacific – what an absolute joy.

We were taken to a variety of wonderful sightseeing points plus the Chapel of Peace (so tranquil and incredible views), Le Quebrada cliff divers (amazing), Los Flamingos Hotel (owned in the past by John Wayne and Johnny Weismuller[Tarzan]), etc, etc and then to a beachfront restaurant for a lovely lunch.

Throughout the tour Rosie was friendly, professional and a great credit to her city. Her tour van was immaculate and she supplied cold soft drinks and beer throughout the day.

If you’re going to Acapulco speak to Rosie by email or ‘phone – you’ll not regret touring with her.

we had a one day stop here on the norwegian star on our way to panama canal. After reading reviews we contacted rosie about availability. although she was booked with others, we arranged a tour with her associate roberto. they were both there to greet us as we got off the ship, even though we were there 30 minutes early.

My husband and i enjoyed a full 5 hour tour in an air conditioned van with a cooler full of ice cold drinks. really appreciated that. It was only the two of us so we were able to really take our time and see the things we wanted to see. roberto was very helpful in suggesting places and giving us a little history and insights. Our tour was much less expensive than those offerred by the cruise ship and we received first class service. rosie kept in touch by phone to make sure all was well. in short, we couldnt have had a better experience. Book with rosie. you wont be disappointed. thanks

On Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, when our ship (Silver Cloud) called at Acapulco for the day, by chance, we met Rosie Daiz, an Official Mexican Tour Guide, at the exit gate of the port. Did we luck in!

Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she was also extremely personable and delightful, and was totally amenable to whatever we wanted to see or do. Her English is very proficient. Her rates were also very reasonable.
She had her own air conditioned van.
We would very highly recommend her.

Some friends who often cruise recommended Rosie to us for our guide when we visited Acapulco in January 2011, and she made our day! She looked smart and happy and took us to see many different things, and told us stories which were fascinating.

I forget I am getting older and when we watched the amazing divers the sun was on my neck for too long, and I did not know how to get back up the steps after the display, but joy of joys Rosie was there with a cold, wet flannel to put on my neck to revive me.

She felt like a friend and we still communicate. I would love to return and see Rosie again as well as Acapulco.

Hope this is ok Rosie, love your Christmas picture!

Happy Christmas and New Year from Marg & Mike

As a travel agent, I’m always looking for ‘something special’ to recommend to my clients. When you visit Acapulco, Rosie is just that ‘something special.’
The last time we were in Acapulco, there were eight of us from our cruise ship and she took us on a FABULOUS tour of the city (according to what everyone wanted to see as well as some spots she knew we would like).

She is VERY personable, which really adds to your tour. Since it was my husband’s birthday, she even had a cake for him at our dinner stop! – now that’s service!!!

We could also tell she was quite well known in town as the places we visited showed her great respect and we got preferential treatment (and parking spots). My friends still talk about “Rosie’s Tour” as the highlight of their cruise.

I have also had other clients I have recommended to Rosie and they come back with the same report – they LOVED Rosie’s tour.
I would recommend Rosie in a heartbeat!!! (P.S. She loves pink and lots of bling!)

“We filled several vans with cruise critic members for Rosies tour of Acapulco. Rosie showed us all over her wonderful city.

She is a real gem when it comes to touring Acapulco. Rosie customed the tour to our requirements & included beer, soda & water; which was very welcome on a warm day. Personally my wife & I have taken Rosie’s tour twice “.
